Before installing the grommet, clean the body bonding surface with isopropyl alcohl.

Install the grommet by pushing on the hook portions until the hooks snap into place, and push the seal portion to make the adhesive stick securely.

Apply multipurpose grease to the rod (A) sliding portion of the grommet (B).

Make sure the fuel fill door adapter is set the fuel filler pipe properly. Take care not to deform the packing of the adapter.

Apply medium strength liquid thread lock to the fuel filler pipe mounting bolts before reinstallation.
