Audio System Symptom Troubleshooting - USB device does not function
  1. Check for continuity between the terminals of audio unit connector D (14P) according to the table.
    From terminal
    To terminals
    D3 (GRY)
    D9 (RED), D10 (GRN)

Is there continuity?
YES -
Repair short in the wire(s) betweens audio unit connector D (14P). Replace the appropriate; shield harness.■
NO -
Go to Step 23 .
  1. Check is sound normally comes out from the speakers while selecting radio, CD, TV etc.
Is the sound normal?
YES -
Replace the USB adapter unit. ■
NO -
Replace the Audio unit:■
  • With navigation system
  • Without navigation system
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect USB adapter unit connector A (14P) and the audio unit connector D (14P).
