Side Curtain Airbag Replacement
Removal
NOTE:
  • Review the interior trim replacement procedure before doing repair or service.
  • Removal of the side curtain airbag must be done according to Precaution and Procedures.
  • The side curtain airbag system consists of many components. When the side curtain airbag has been deployed, go to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment, and replace all of the parts listed.
  1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, then wait for 3 minutes before starting work.
  1. Remove the headliner.
  1. Disconnect the SRS floor wire harness 2P connectors (A) from the side curtain airbags.
