Setting the Distance Between the Target and the Vehicle
NOTE: When marking on the floor, use suitable tape to mark the exact locations.

Hang the plumb bob (A) from the centre line on the jacking pad (B) under the front of the vehicle (line up the plumb bob with the line on the jacking pad), and mark (C) the spot on the floor where the plumb bob touches the floor.
