Steering Gearbox Removal and Installation
  1. K24Z3 engine A/T model: Remove the upper base bracket (A) from the base bracket (B).
  1. Raise the vehicle on a lift.
  1. Remove the front splash shield.
  1. Remove the exhaust pipe A:
    • R20A3 engine model
    • K24Z3 engine model
  1. A/T: Disconnect the shift cable from the selector control lever.
  1. With the HID lamp model: Disconnect the suspension stroke sensor connector.
