Yaw Rate-Lateral Acceleration Sensor Replacement
NOTE:
  • Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.
  • Do not use power tools.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Remove the center console.
  1. With rear ventilation: Remove the driver's rear ventilation duct.
  1. M/T: Remove the shift lever housing.
  1. Remove the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor (A) mounting nuts.
  1. Disconnect the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor 4P connector (B).
  1. Check for deformation in the bracket (C). If necessary replace it.
  1. Install the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.
  1. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization.
