Rear Upper Arm Replacement

Ball joint remover, 32 mm

NOTE: The illustrations show only the rear disc brake type of the vehicle except where the procedure is different for the rear drum in disc brake type.
  1. Raise the rear of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations.
  1. Remove the rear wheel.
  1. Remove the rear damper/spring.
  1. Release the parking brake lever fully.
  1. Rear disc brake type: Loosen the parking brake cable adjusting nut.
  1. Rear disc brake type: Remove the flange bolt (A) from the arm (B). Then disconnect the parking brake cable from the lever (C).
