Brake Booster Replacement
RHD model of K24Z3 engine model
Remove the cowl cover.
Remove the master cylinder.
Disconnect the vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster (B).
Remove the suction line mount bolt (C).
Remove the suction line mount bolt (A), then disconnect the receiver line (B) from the clamps (C).
Remove the brake lines (A) from the clamp (B).
Remove the under-hood fuse/relay box mount nut (A) and release the clip (B), then move the under-hood fuse/relay box (C) aside.
Remove the under-hood fuse/relay box stay (A), then remove the engine wire harness clamp (B) and the clips (C).
Remove the engine wire harness clamp bolt (A).
Remove the driver's dashboard undercover.
Remove the lock pin (A) and the joint pin (B), then disconnect the yoke from the brake pedal.
Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).
Remove the brake booster (A) forward, then rotate it so the yoke (B) toward the front of vehicle. Move the brake booster to the passenger's side.
Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and the threads of the booster stud bolts.
Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines or other components hoses and lines.
Remove the brake booster (A) from the engine compartment.
NOTE: Use the new brake booster gasket (B) reassembly.
Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
Install the master cylinder after installing the brake booster.
Check the brake pedal height and free play after installing the master cylinder, and adjust it if necessary.
Bleed the brake system.
