Water Pump Replacement
With oil cooler
  1. Remove the oil cooler hose joint pipe (A) and O-ring (B) from the water pump.
  1. Remove the water pump pulley (A).
  1. Remove the seven bolts securing the water pump, then remove the water pump (B).
  1. Inspect, and clean the O-ring groove and mating surface with the water passage.
  1. Install the water pump with new O-ring (C) and the water pump pulley in the reverse order of removal.
  1. Install the oil cooler hose joint pipe with new O-ring.
  1. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
Without oil cooler
  1. Remove the water pump pulley (A).
  1. Remove the six bolts securing the water pump, then remove the water pump (B).
  1. Inspect and clean the O-ring groove and the mating surface of the water passage.
  1. Install the water pump with new O-ring (C) and the water pump pulley in the reverse order of removal.
  1. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
  1. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system with the heater valve open.
