Remove the master cylinder.

Disconnect the vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster (B).

Remove the vacuum hose clamp (A), then disconnect the suction line (B) and the receiver line (C) from the bracket (D).

Remove the bracket mount bolt (E).

Remove the suction line mount bolt (A), then disconnect the receiver line (B) from the clamps (C).

Remove the brake lines (A) from the clamp (B) and VSA modulator-control unit (C).

Remove the driver's dashboard undercover.

Remove the lock pin (A) and the joint pin (B), then loosen the nut (C) and disconnect the yoke (D) from the brake pedal.

Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (E).

Remove the yoke from the brake booster rod (F).

Remove the brake booster (A) by pulling it out and turning it, and remove it from the engine compartment.

• Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and the threads of the booster stud bolts.
• Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines or other components hoses and lines.

Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
