CMP Pulse Plate Removal and Installation

Removal

Remove the intake air duct.
|
|

Remove the engine mount control solenoid valve mounting bolt.
|
|
-
Remove the harness holder (A) from the cylinder head.

|
|
-
Remove the camshaft thrust cover.
|
|
-
Hold the camshaft with an open-end wrench, then loosen the bolt.
|
|
-
Remove the camshaft position (CMP) pulse plate.
|
|
|
Installation
-
Install the CMP pulse plate.
|
|
-
Hold the camshaft with an open-end wrench, then tighten the bolt.
|
Specified Torque
|
|
14 x 1.5 mm 34 N·m (3.5 kgf·m, 25 lbf·ft)
|
|
|
-
Install the camshaft thrust cover (A), use a new O-ring (B).

|
|
-
Install the harness holder (A) on the cylinder head.
|
|
-
Install the engine mount control solenoid valve mounting bolt.
|
|
-
Install the intake air duct.
|
