With A/C: Both the radiator fan and the A/C condenser fan run at low speed, but radiator fan does not run at high speed when the engine coolant temperature is above 96.5 °C (206 °F)

Diagnostic procedure
  1. Remove the relay circuit board, and test the fan control relay.
  2. If the relay is faulty, replace the circuit board.
  3. If the relay is OK, check for an open in the wire between the under-hood fuse/relay box terminal B1 and body ground.
Also check for
  • Poor ground at G301
  • Cleanliness and tightness of all connectors
