Clutch Pedal Assembly Replacement
NOTE:
  • Without cruise control: The adjusting bolt is substituted as clutch pedal position switch.
  • Without shift indicator lamp: Exclude the clutch switch (SIL) relation procedure because the switch is not equipped.
  • The illustrations show LHD model.
  1. Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch connector (A) and the clutch switch (SIL) connector (B).
  1. Pry out the lock pin (C), and pull the pedal pin (D) out of the yoke.
  1. Remove the master cylinder mounting nuts (E) and the clutch pedal mounting bolt (F).
  1. Remove the clutch pedal assembly (G).
  1. Remove the clutch pedal position switch (H) and clutch switch (SIL) (I).
  1. Loosely install the clutch pedal position switch (A) and clutch switch (SIL) (B).
  1. Install the clutch pedal assembly (A).
  1. Install the clutch pedal mounting bolt (B) and master cylinder mounting nuts (C).
  1. Apply multipurpose grease to the pedal pin (D), and mating surfaces (E) of the yoke and the pedal. Slide it into the yoke, then install a lock pin (F).
  1. Check the clutch operation.
