Spare Tyre Pan/Rear Frame Installation
NOTE:

Set the new rear frame B, the rear frame C and the rear floor cross-member (A). Measure the rear frame diagonally.

Check the body dimensions.

Tack weld the new parts into position.

Temporarily install the rear subframe, check the rear frame A, B, C and the rear floor cross-member position.

Set the rear upper frame B, and clamp the rear floor side panel (A), and the spare tyre pan (C).

Temporarily install the rear panel, and the trunk lid, then check for differences in level and clearance.

Do the main welding. From the passenger's side, drill the holes for welding the new rear frame stiffener (B), and weld it to the rear upper frame A.

Plug weld the rear frame B, and the rear frame stiffener (C) to the rear frame A.

Weld the side flange of the rear frame B (A) and the rear upper frame B to the rear wheelhouse (C).

Remove the spare tyre pan, and weld the rear floor cross-member (A) to the rear frame B and the rear floor (C). Weld the rear floor and the rear floor patch (D).

Drill the holes for welding the overlaps with the rear floor (A) of the rear upper frame B. Weld the rear frame B (D), the rear upper frame B, the rear frame C, the rear floor side panel (E) and the rear floor.

Weld the rear floor side panel (A) to the rear wheelhouse (B) and the outer panel (C).

Set the spare tyre pan, and recheck the alignment of the rear upper frame B and the rear panel.

Drill the hole for welding the spare tyre pan (A) and the rear upper frame B. Plug weld the spare tyre pan.

Set the rear upper frame C and tack weld it into position.

Set the rear bulkhead lower cross-member (A), temporarily install the rear bulkhead lower gusset (B), and check the rear bulkhead lower cross-member position.

Weld the rear upper frame C and the rear bulkhead lower cross-member (B).
