Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and wait for 10 seconds.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and wait for 10 seconds.

Are DTC 76-61 or 76-62 indicated?

Check the No. 1 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and No. 20 (30 A) fuse and No. 21 (30 A) fuse in the front passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box.

Replace the faulty fuse. If the problem is still present, short to ground in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box or passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box circuit.■

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Check the voltage between the No. 8 terminal of the left engine compartment subharness 14P connector (LHD models) or E-pretensioner subharness 14P connector (RHD models) and body ground. There should be battery voltage.

Open between the No. 1 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the No. 8 terminal of the left engine compartment subharness 14P connector (LHD models) or E-pretensioner subharness 14P connector (RHD models).■
