DTC Troubleshooting: B2625

DTC B2625:
 Left Front Corner Parking Sensor Malfunction
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2625 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 4 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Swap the left front corner parking sensor and the left front center parking sensor.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2625 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 8 .
NO -
Replace the left front corner parking sensor.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect the 6P connector from the left front corner parking sensor.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Measure the voltage between the left front corner parking sensor 6P connector No. 6 terminal and body ground.
Is there about 8 V?
YES -
Go to Step 12 .
NO -
Go to Step 22 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

  1. Check for continuity between the left front corner parking sensor 6P connector No. 2 terminal and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Go to Step 14 .
NO -
Repair an open in the wire.■
  1. Disconnect the 16P connector from the parking and back-up sensor control unit.

  1. Connect the parking and back-up sensor control unit 16P connector No. 3 terminal and body ground with a jumper wire.

  1. Check for continuity between the left front corner parking sensor 6P connector No. 4 terminal and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Go to Step 17 .
NO -
Repair an open in the wire.■
  1. Remove the jumper wire from the parking and back-up sensor control unit.

  1. Check for continuity between the left front corner parking sensor 6P connector No. 4 terminal and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Repair a short to ground in the wire.■
NO -
Go to Step 19 .
  1. Reconnect all connectors.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2628 also indicated?
YES -
Go to the DTC B2628 troubleshooting.■
NO -
Replace the parking and back-up sensor control unit .■

  1. Measure the voltage between the left front corner parking sensor 6P connector No. 6 terminal and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
Repair a short to power in the wire.■
NO -
Go to Step 23 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect the 16P connector from the parking/back-up sensor control unit.

  1. Connect the parking and back-up sensor control unit 16P connector No. 2 terminal and body ground with a jumper wire.

  1. Check for continuity between the left front corner parking sensor 6P connector No. 6 terminal and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Replace the parking and back-up sensor control unit .■
NO -
Repair an open in the wire.■
