DTC B1036:
Driver's MICU IG1 Line Input Error
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
-
Wait for 6 seconds or more.
-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
-
Measure the voltage between the gauge control module 32P connector No. 15 and No. 17 terminals.

Is there battery voltage?
|

YES
|

Faulty driver's MICU. Substitute a known-good driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and recheck.■
|
|
NO
|

|
Check the No. 5 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box. If the fuse is OK, check for an open in the BLK wire or a poor connection at G501, or an open in the wire between the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the gauge control module, or repair a short in the wire between the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the gauge control module.■
