EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (CPU Communication) (Regular Diagnosis)
DTC 35-07:
EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (INHL/INHR Ports) (Initial Diagnosis/Regular Diagnosis)
DTC 36-02:
EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (INH Output Circuit) (Initial Diagnosis)
DTC 37-01:
EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (Step-up Circuit) (Initial Diagnosis)

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Clear the DTC with the HDS.

Turn the ignition switch LOCK (0).
-
Start the engine.

Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 32-01, 32-02, 35-01, 35-02, 35-04, 35-07, 36-02, or 37-01 indicated?

NO

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EPS motor and the EPS control unit.■
