Millimeter Wave Radar Communication Error

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Watch the ACC indicator and CMBS indicator.

Do the indicators come on?

YES

NO

|
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
|

YES

|
|
NO
|
-
|
Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s). If there are no DTCs, the system is OK at this time.■
|

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
-
Check the No. 2 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.

NO

|
Replace the fuse and recheck.■
|

Disconnect the 5P connector from the millimeter wave radar.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
-
Check for voltage between the millimeter wave radar 5P connector No. 1 terminal and body ground.

Is there battery voltage?
|

YES
|

|
|
NO
|
-
|
Repair an open in the wire between the millimeter wave radar and the No. 22 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.■

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
