Seat Heater Test
Driver's Seat
  1. Disconnect the connector A (4P) and connector B (2P) from the seat heaters.
  1. Check for continuity between the seat heater connector B (2P) No. 1 and No. 2 terminals. There should be continuity. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat-back heater.
  1. Reconnect seat heater connector B (2P) to the seat-back heater.
  1. Check for continuity between the seat heater connector A (4P) No. 2 and No. 3 terminals and No. 2 and No. 4 terminals. There should be continuity. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat cushion heater.
  1. If the seat cushion heater and the seat-back heater are OK, check the wire between connector A (4P) No. 2 terminal and connector B (2P) No. 2 terminal.
Front Passenger's Seat
  1. Disconnect the connector A (4P) and connector B (2P) from the seat heaters.
  1. Check for continuity between the seat heater connector B (2P) No. 1 and No. 2 terminals. There should be continuity. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat-back heater.
  1. Reconnect seat heater connector B (2P) to the seat-back heater.
  1. Check for continuity between the seat heater connector A (4P) No. 2 and No. 3 terminals and No. 2 and No. 4 terminals. There should be continuity. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat cushion heater.
  1. If the seat cushion heater and the seat-back heater are OK, check the wire between connector A (4P) No. 2 terminal and connector B (2P) No. 2 terminal.
