Front Seat Frame Replacement

Driver's Seat

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
If the side airbag has deployed, replace the seat frame and related parts with new ones.
LHD model is shown; RHD model is symmetrical.

Except manual seat: Detach the clips (A, B), then remove the upper rail outer cover (C).

Except manual seat: Detach the clip, then remove the upper rail inner cover (A).

Remove the recline inner cover (A) and the center inner cover (B) from the seat frame (C).

Install the new seat frame in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
