Rearview Mirror Replacement

Without Automatic Dimming Mirror
  1. Release the hooks (A), then pull the mirror base cover (B) down.

  1. Pull the hook (A) down to release it from the mount (B), and slide the mirror base (C) rearward, then remove the rearview mirror (D).
  1. Install the mirror base cover to the mirror base securely.

  1. Fit the mirror base over the mount (A), and secure the rearview mirror (B) by the spring (C) and hook (D).

With Automatic Dimming Mirror
  1. With lane keep assist system: Pry out the rearview mirror harness cover (A) to detach the hooks (B), then slide the cover rearward, and remove the cover by detaching the hooks (C) of the rearview mirror harness cover base (D).

  1. Without lane keep assist system and without automatic wiper: Slide the rearview mirror harness upper cover (A) forward to release it from the headliner (B). Pry out the rearview mirror harness lower cover (C) to detach the hooks (D), then slide the cover rearward, and remove the cover by detaching the hooks (E) of the rearview mirror harness cover base (F).

  1. Without lane keep assist system and with automatic wiper: Detach the hooks (A), then remove the rain sensor cover (B).

  1. Disconnect the connector (A).

  1. Using a TORX T20 bit, loosen the screw, then slide the rearview mirror (A) rearward and off the mount (B).
  1. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Before installing the mirror, remove the TORX screw, and apply medium strength liquid thread lock to it.
    • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
