Ambient Light Test/Replacement
With sunroof
NOTE: The ambient light is built into the sunroof switch.
  1. Disconnect the sunroof switch 12P connector (A) and the map light 3P connector (B).
  1. Remove the sunroof switch (C) from the map light housing.
  1. At the sunroof switch 12P connector, check the light by connecting battery power to the No. 3 terminal and ground to the No. 1 terminal. The ambient light should come on. If the light does not come on, replace the sunroof switch assembly.
  1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
