Side Sill Protection Tape Replacement
  1. Slowly peel up the old side sill protection tape.
  1. Clean the body bonding surface with a sponge dampened in isopropyl alcohol. After cleaning, keep oil, grease, and water from getting on the surface.
  1. Peel off the adhesive backing B from the side sill protection tape (D).
    NOTE: Do not peel the adhesive backing A and the adhesive backing C.
  1. Align the alignment marks (D) of the adhesive backing A and the adhesive backing C with the body line (E), and align the edge of the adhesive backing C with the convex portion (F) of the body, then press the side sill protection tape (G) where the adhesive backing B is peeled into place.
  1. Remove the adhesive backing A and the adhesive backing C from the side sill protection tape (B), and press the tape into place.
