Fuel Fill Door Actuator Replacement
NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to scratch the body.
  1. Remove the left trunk side trim panel:
  1. Disconnect the fuel fill door actuator connector (A).
  1. Loosen the bolts, then remove the fuel fill door actuator (A) by sliding it upward, and remove the rod (B) from the grommet (C).
  1. Install the fuel fill door actuator in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Make sure the actuator connector is plugged in properly, and the rod is inserted to the grommet securely.
    • Apply multipurpose grease to the rod (A) sliding portion of the grommet (B).
    • Make sure the fuel fill door opens properly and locks securely.
