Front Bumper Lower Grille Replacement

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the front bumper.
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  1. Remove these items:
  1. Remove these items from the front bumper:
  1. Remove the clips, and release the hooks (B), then remove the induction plate A from the front bumper (C).
    NOTE: To remove the clips, pry the inner clip up at the edge near the line (D) on its head.

  1. Remove the induction center plate (A) from the front bumper (B).

    With headlight washer: Release the washer tube (C) from the holders (D) of the plate.

    Remove the clips from under the bumper.
    -3.
    Remove the screws.
    -4.
    Pull the plate out to detach the hooks (E).
    NOTE: To remove the clips, pry the inner clip up at the edge near the line (F) on its head.

  1. Remove the screws, and release the hooks (A), then remove the left induction plate (B) and the right induction plate from the front bumper lower grille (C).
    NOTE: The left induction plate is shown; the right induction plate is symmetrical.

  1. With headlight washer: Release the washer tube (A) from the holders (B) of the front bumper lower grille (C). Detach the hooks (D, E), then remove the lower grille from the front bumper (F).
  1. Install the bumper lower grille in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
