Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, then wait for 3 minutes before starting work.

Disconnect the front passenger's side airbag harness 2P connector.

Remove the front passenger's seat assembly.

Remove the seat-back cover/pad.

Remove the cover (A), then disconnect the connectors (B) from the OPDS unit (C).

Remove the two bolts and washers (D) and the OPDS unit.

Place the OPDS unit (A) on the seat-back frame. Tighten the two nuts (B), and connect the connectors (C) to the OPDS unit. Reinstall the cover (D).

Install the seat-back cover.

Install the front seat assembly, then connect the side airbag harness 2P connector.

Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.

Set the seat-back in the normal position, and make sure there is nothing on the front passenger's seat.

Initialize the OPDS unit.

Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
