LKAS Camera Removal/Installation
NOTE:
  • When removing the LKAS camera, take care not to touch the lens of the LKAS camera.
  • Before installation, check if the lens of the LKAS camera is clean. If it is dirty, wipe the lens off with a soft towel dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
  • LKAS control unit is the common part of LHD model and RHD model. However, the LKAS control unit becomes not the common part of LHD model and RHD model when do the Steering Angle Sensor Newtral Position Memorization, because LKAS control unit writes information of LHD model or RHD model as well. LKAS camera is not the common part of LHD model and RHD model. Also cannot do the steering angle sensor newtral position memorization again.
  1. Release the hooks (A) with the LKAS camera cover (B), then slide the LKAS camera cover to the backward.
  1. Remove the three mounting bolts, then disconnect the 10P connector (A) and remove the LKAS camera (B).
  1. Install the LKAS camera in the reverse order of removal.
  1. After installation, do the LKAS camera aiming.
