Vehicle speed cannot be set when the SET switch is pressed (between 30 km/h (19 mph) and 180 km/h (112 mph))
Diagnostic procedure
  1. Test the adaptive cruise control (ACC) combination switch.
  2. Test the transmission range switch (A/T).
  3. Test the brake pedal position switch.
  4. Check for a short in the SCS line.
Also check for
  • Blown No. 15 (10 A) or No. 10 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box
  • An open in the wire
  • A short in the wire
  • The system is in service mode
