ACC Symptom Troubleshooting - Adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator (orange) does not come on

Adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator (orange) does not come on
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Watch the following indicators in the gauge control module:
    • Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)
    • Brake system light
    • Charging light
Do the indicators come on?
YES -
NO -
Go to Step 3 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Check the No. 2 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
Is the fuse OK?
YES -
Go to Step 5 .
NO -
Replace the fuse, then recheck.■
  1. Disconnect the gauge control module 32P connector.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Check for voltage between the gauge control module 32P connector No. 15 terminal and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
NO -
Repair an open in the wire between the gauge control module and the No. 5 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box, if the wire is OK, replace the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.■
