Clean the areas where the intermediate shaft contacts the differential thoroughly with solvent or brake cleaner, and dry with compressed air.

NOTE: Do not wash the rubber parts with solvent.

Install a new set ring (A) onto the set ring groove (B) of the intermediate shaft (C).

NOTE: The illustrations show K24Z3 engine model.

Insert the intermediate shaft into the differential correctly.

NOTE: Insert the intermediate shaft carefully to prevent damaging the oil seal (D).

Install the flange bolt (A) and two dowel bolts (B).

Install the right driveshaft.

K24Z3 engine model of M/T: Install the CKP sensor cover (A) to the engine block.

Refill the transmission with the recommended transmission fluid:

Check the wheel alignment, and adjust it if necessary.

Test-drive the vehicle.
