Intermediate Shaft Removal

Drain the transmission fluid. Reinstall the drain plug using a new sealing washer:

K24Z3 engine model of M/T: Remove the CKP sensor cover (A) from the engine block.

Remove the flange bolt (A) and two dowel bolts (B).

Remove the intermediate shaft (A) from the differential. Hold the intermediate shaft horizontal until it is clear of the differential to prevent damaging the oil seal (B).
NOTE: The illustration shows K24Z3 engine model.
