Yaw Rate-Lateral Acceleration Sensor Replacement

NOTE:

Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.
Do not use power tools.

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

Remove the center console.

With rear ventilation: Remove the driver's rear ventilation duct.

M/T: Remove the shift lever housing.

Remove the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor (A) mounting nuts.

Disconnect the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor 4P connector (B).

Check for deformation in the bracket (C). If necessary replace it.

Install the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.

Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization.
